How a Viennese and a Cologne man landed in the heart of the Salzburg mountains ...
I was born in Vienna in 1976. From an early age it was my wish to run a bed and breakfast in a holiday region, so I decided to attend a school for gastronomy and tourism. After graduation, however, I moved into a completely different area: software development. Later I got into project management. After 2 spa stays in Bad Hofgastein, I fell in love with this beautiful area and the mountains and decided to move here. Life here is much more relaxed with lots of fresh mountain air. My hobbies include hiking, running, skiing, cooking and of course designing websites. I am currently a full-time project manager at a security company in St. Johann in Pongau. At Christmas 2019 I proposed to Stephan and we finally tied the knot 9 months later in September 2020.
I was born in Cologne in 1975. After my apprenticeship as an optician, I completed an apprenticeship as a hearing care professional. I worked in this area for 20 years in a family business in the Cologne-Bonn area. My hobbies are hiking, skiing and acrylic pouring. In 2012 I met my husband Roman at Gran Canaria and finally moved to live with him in Bad Hofgastein in July 2013. My main job there is the branch manager of an optician specializing in hearing acoustics. In 2020 I came to acrylic pouring during a spa stay. Then, due to the Covid situation, I had a lot of free time and used it to deal intensively with this topic. In the meantime, my pictures are exhibited in the health center in Bad Hofgastein and can also be purchased on my homepage Pouringworld.at. This hobby is very relaxing for me.
For the first 6 years we lived in an apartment right in the center of Bad Hofgastein. At the beginning of 2018 we decided that we would like to buy a plot of land and build a house together. We found a suitable property relatively quickly. Due to the size of the semi-detached house, it was clear that we wanted to rent out the top floor for vacationers. After the start of construction in April 2018 and a nine-month construction period, we were able to move into the house on December 24th, 2018. Since there were unfortunately some delays, we could only start renting a year later in January 2020. After the unplanned Covid lock, we now have the opportunity to rent again without restriction. We are always happy about new, but also known guests and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
